Carlie Schulte, LPC

E3 Lake St. Louis

Hi, my name is Carlie, and I am a therapist at the Lake St. Louis office. I recently decided to move into a private practice setting to begin working one-on-one with people who are suffering from anxiety, depression, or other difficult life circumstances.

I have always known I wanted to help people. From a young age, I felt a calling from God, so I used my passion and drive to pursue a degree, and career, in counseling!

Like most people in this world, I have faced my own mental health struggles. I want to be able to help others the way I was helped when going through my own life struggles. My faith is a huge part of who I am as a person, and I am always excited when someone is looking for a faith-based counselor. But I am also keenly aware that not everyone shares my beliefs, and I would never force my beliefs on those who don’t. I can't promise to have all the answers, but I do promise to be present with you as we walk together through your struggles. I look forward to being able to help you travel the path laid in front of you in the healthiest way possible, and to help you find joy in it.

When I’m not at the office, I can be found enjoying the outdoors with my husband and son (and baby on the way), or curling up with my dogs inside while reading a book. I really value family time, but also love being a therapist and am excited to meet the incredible people in the community.

I've been working in the field of mental health since 2013. I've worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, with groups and individuals. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology, a Master's in Professional Counseling, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri.

I have a particular passion and interest in working with anxiety and depression, but I am open to working with other issues as well. I work with adult clients only.
