Work in Progress

"A work of art was once a work in progress." Adele Leon

In counseling, we talk a lot about progress. Occasionally people get so hung up on it that they totally forget to look at the baby steps of progress they have made. They feel like they are failing because they haven't yet reached their big goal. But it's not all about that goal, it's about becoming a healthier, better you. It's about taking steps to get to your big goal. The emotional state you are in didn't appear overnight, so it certainly won't be fixed overnight either!

Surprisingly, this post is not only about the progress you have made. It is also about the progress we are making at our new office! The office needs some work - painting, new floors, some electrical work, etc. - and we are doing the work ourselves. Well, when I say "we", I really mean my husband. He's handy like that, and is just as excited as I am about opening this office.

Many of you have asked when we will officially be opening our doors, and unfortunately, I just don't know the answer to that question.

My goal is to be opening the second week in October (on or around October 8), but it really just depends on progress, and whether or not we can get it ready by then. I think it is possible, but time will tell. So for now, we are just tentatively planning and scheduling.

Be sure to follow our blog and also our facebook page and we will definitely be giving updates on our progress.

Thanks for your support, and I look forward to serving my hometown very soon! ~Tricia
